Written and directed by Producer Sherri, "The Bold and The Sanctified" is about a black church and a white church being thrown together to see how they can make UNITY work. This play manages to be hopeful and beautiful without glossing over anything, and without beating anyone up.
Hence the reason it's a comedic, musical play.
