When sleep won't come and peace feels unfindable… there is hope.
Erik is sharing his story today on 89.7 KSGN and ksgn.com/listen.
You'll hear how God came near when his baby boy was on a ventilator at just one day old.
"My wife had a really difficult pregnancy and we had no idea what was going to happen."
When mommy and daddy are usually delighting in the miracle of birth… counting 10 fingers and 10 toes, Erik and his wife saw more wires and devices connected to their son than they could count.
One day, driving to the hospital, Erik said there was a song and indescribable peace.
"I turned on KSGN and a song inspired by Psalm 103 put me at peace."
Erik read Psalm 103 to his precious newborn. Some days later, when it was safe, he was able to hold him in his arms. Just like our loving Father holds us.
