What's new: Meet Bodie - SoCal artist behind "whisper and the wind"

🎶 We’re excited to welcome a new voice to 89.7 KSGN! You may recognize Bodie, the talented runner-up from Season 22 of The Voice (2024), whose heartfelt new single, “whisper and the wind,” has just been added to our playlist.  

A proud Southern California native, Bodie lives in Orange County with his wife and their three children. When he’s not writing or performing music, you’ll find him serving as a worship leader at Oceans Church in Irvine, where he contributes to songwriting, production, and creative media. His deep roots in the local Christian music community shine through in every note he sings.

🎵 About the Song
“whisper and the wind” is a moving reminder that God often speaks in the stillness. Inspired by the biblical account of Elijah (1 Kings 19:11–13), Bodie invites us to listen for God not in loud, dramatic moments—but in the quiet, everyday whispers of life.

🎥 Behind the Scenes
In a unique and personal touch, the official music video was self-filmed with a $40 camera, offering an unfiltered look at Bodie’s family life. From candid shots of his children to tender moments with his wife, the video highlights the presence of God in the ordinary and reminds us that sacred moments are often the simplest.
