We are saddened to learn of the passing of Grammy-winning artist Mandisa, best known for her uplifting songs “Stronger” and “Overcomer" that we play on 89.7 KSGN. 

Throughout her career, she collaborated with a lot of Christian performers - familiar names like TobyMac, Matthew West, Michael W. Smith, Kirk Franklin, Jordan Feliz - and she shared inspired women as a speaker at many conferences over the years.

Reflecting on Mandisa's life, light, and music, we each remember how her songs resonated with us during different phases of our lives. We are grateful to Mandisa for spreading her infectious smile and the message of Jesus through her music. Though she is no longer with us, she remains in our hearts, and we find solace in knowing she is at peace.
