89.7 KSGN has been a friend here in the Inland Empire for nearly 70 years.  The kind of friend that is getting harder to find.

That’s because there are more choices, but only a few feel like home. Some radio stations are broadcasting from elsewhere or are part of large networks with signals scattered across the country. They are doing a good work, sharing Jesus in meaningful ways.

But there’s something special, we feel, about being local.  Perhaps because... that’s what we know, and it’s just who we are.

When you listen to 89.7 KSGN, you are part of something happening close to home.

Maybe you heard the story this week about someone who left a note with a Bible verse on a stranger’s car.

For the person who left the note, it was a simple act - inspired by something heard on 89.7 KSGN. For the person who received the note, it was a reminder right on time that God sees and loves them.

This and other testimonies of answered prayer are not random, unintentional acts. Rather, they are Holy Spirit inspired moments between members of a community of people who love God and care about each other.

We want to see more of that. And we believe it’s possible.

You may have heard that a recent fundraiser came up quite short, so we have added more on-air fundraising days starting next week giving more listeners opportunity to be part of it.

Right now, we are working toward a $50,000 goal to kickstart the fundraiser and have the greatest chance of reaching the funding goal of $115,000.
