Care and Connect Safety Fun Expo Supporting the Autism and I/DD Community

The CARE and CONNECT Safety Fair is a free, sensory-friendly regional event designed for individuals with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families. Held on August 15 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Miller Park Amphitheater in Fontana, this event provides a welcoming, non-emergency environment where attendees can connect with local first responders and community organizations.

In collaboration with the San Bernardino County Fire Department and Office of the Fire Marshal, and with participation from agencies across San Bernardino and Riverside counties, the event focuses on building trust, promoting safety, and bridging the gap between the autism/IDD community and law enforcement.

Families will have the opportunity to access valuable safety resources, meet first responders, and enjoy a fun, inclusive experience. The first 300 registered guests will receive complimentary ice cream.
