Temecula Memorial Day Observance Ceremony

The City of Temecula hosts its annual Memorial Day Observance Ceremony at the Temecula Duck Pond and Veterans Memorial at 298250 Ynez Road beginning at 10 a.m. on Memorial Day Monday.

According to Temecula Patch, the ceremony is presented in partnership with Veterans of Foreign Wars and invites the community to gather and pay tribute to fallen heroes.

The Veterans Memorial at the Duck Pond features the “Letters Home” memorial designed by artist Christopher Pardell, displaying reproductions of real letters written by servicemen and women from battlefields as early as the American Revolution.

The Path of Honor — permanent granite pavers engraved with the names of those who served — and the Temecula Fallen Heroes Memorial are also on the grounds.
