78th Christmas Candlelight Concert at La Sierra

In welcoming the 2025 holiday season, La Sierra University will offer three festive events during the first week of December that are free and open to the public – the university’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting festival, annual Candlelight Concert, and a holiday jazz performance.

The La Sierra University Department of Music will hold its 78th Annual Candlelight Concert featuring La Sierra’s choirs, orchestra and brass ensembles, and featuring Jonathan Mamora, international award-winning concert pianist and La Sierra’s director of keyboard studies. The program will also include a carol sing-along.

The performance will be held Friday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. at the La Sierra University Church, 4937 Sierra Vista Ave, Riverside.  Admission to the Candlelight Concert is free with limited paid reserved seating available.
