The Great Race - San Bernardino

The Hemmings Great Race Grand Finale is rolling into Southern California, bringing a cross-country rally of antique automobiles to the Inland Empire.

This is not a typical car show where everything is parked before the crowd arrives. The Great Race has movement built into it, with 120 antique automobiles making their way across more than 2,300 miles before reaching the finish line in Southern California. The 2026 route celebrates the 100th anniversary of Route 66, which gives the finale an added layer of nostalgia for anyone who loves classic cars, roadside Americana, historic highways, and the feeling of seeing old machinery actually used the way it was meant to be used.

The event is free to the public, and the format usually gives spectators time to see the cars up close, talk with participants, and take in the kind of antique rally field that does not come through town every weekend.
