American Legion Post 299 of Chino will host a Memorial Day event at 10 a.m. Monday, May 29.
The event is set for the Chino Liberty Courtyard at the Chino Community Building, 5443 B St.
The guest speaker will be David Meytoer. Chino Mayor Eunice Ulloa also is set to speak. Representatives from each military branch will participate in the placing of wreaths. A 21-gun salute will end the observance.
