Concerto Concert to feature award-winning artists

La Sierra University’s 60th Annual Concerto Concert on Sunday, April 22 will showcase five award-winning operatic vocalists including this year’s concerto competition winner, tenor Anthony León. Joining him in a performance of Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125” will be Stephanie Jones, soprano, Kimberly Sogioka, mezzo-soprano, Tim Gonzales, tenor, and Abdiel González, baritone. Performers have appeared in top venues around California, the United States, Mexico and elsewhere, in television and film scores and on major concert stages. The concerto concert will be held at 7 p.m. at the La Sierra University Church, 4937 Sierra Vista Ave., Riverside. General admission is $15. Discounted tickets are available online.
